    Per http://www.woodwindforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3950

What this does is create a "barcode" that can be read by smartphones. More information on QR Codes.

    Couple things to note:

    * It makes a QR Code out of the URL currently displayed in your "website" bar. So, if it says, "http://qrcode.com," that's the QR Code that will be generated.
    * This will not insert the QR Code into your post. For creating a QR Code to insert into a post, try this:

    1. Go to http://qrcode.kaywa.com and type in the URL you want to link to and hit "generate"
    2. Copy the permalink link from above (i.e. "right click on 'permalink' and choose 'Copy Link' or whatever looks simular in your browser)
    3. In your post, type [IMG] (where "permalink" is the thing you got from the kaywa website)

    Enjoy!

The above post was in relation to our old vBulletin forum. Since then, the kaywa service has switched from paid to free ... and I haven't heard anyone ask to get a replacement. So, if you do want QR codes, g'head and post here, e-mail me, or start a Conversation ("private message") with me. If folks are still interested, I'll research a free or cheap alternative.
