Hearing the Eb octocontrabass clarinet?

    While the Eb octocontra may have just been in for repairs, I do know that Leblanc sold off a lot, if not all, of their collection a few years back. I believe that Leblanc made one Eb and one Bb octocontra and that was it.

    What probably impresses me the most about the octocontra is how much sound he's getting out of the horn. When I played Bb contra, I had to put a LOT of air into it and I don't think I was ever that loud.
