Help identifying a clarinet

Hi,

A friend of mine asked me to help her identify a clarinet and now I need your help! This picture shows the only logo I could find on the instrument. Does someone know which brand it is?

Russia/Ucraine/Bulgaria

Oh yeah, that looks like a Russian/Ucrainian instrument ;-) I can read "Z143 R" on it (in cyrillic characters). Please check my comments here: http://www.museum-markneukirchen.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1362

This instrument is comparable to the one, I got some weeks before. Ok, the labellig is not the same, but could be a different series or done in St. Petersburg. The only manufacturers used cyrillic characters were Russia, Ucraine and Bulgaria. But I don't know any Bulgarian clarinet making factory - neither yet nor in the past.

I will discuss this with our European experts, but I would assume, it's a cheap Russian ebonite clarinet. The material and keywork looks so rough as mine...

kindly
Roman

PS: The factory ORFEI in Kiev Ucraine was closed in the 90s as I heard some days before ;-(
