Ultrasonic cleaners should not be damaging, unless the mouthpiece starts to vibrate against the wall of the cleaner or some other item.
On the other hand, I don't see much advantage for cleaning mouthpieces in a domestic environment. Ultrasonic cleaners work best with nooks and crannies, but for mostly plain surfaces, a rag or a toothbrush does it just as well.
