The horns engraved Selmer (New York) were generally, but not always, made by Conn. That's why Ed put that little extra on the title of this forum section. It was about a 70%-29%-1% split between Conn, Buescher and "other".
The big thing to look for: that Mercedes-Benz (or peace-symbol) low C keyguard. If your horn doesn't have it -- excepting sopranos and sopraninos -- it's probably not (but not always) made by Conn.
