Which Reed For Van Doren 5RV?

I am looking for some new reeds for the above mouthpiece.

The internet doesn’t provide much information.

Can anyone help me?

I am a casual player and I have a 60s Vito plastic student model.

Reeds are a totally individual thing. My favorite reed may very well not work at all for you. So the best I can do is tell you what's comfortable for this intermediate jazz player on that size tip opening on my Vito plastic clarinet, which is Vandoren blue box 2.5 or 3.0. A similar D'darrio would be 3.0-3.5. Since you can buy individual Vandoren reeds, I recommend you buy just one to try, and if it doesn't work, go up or down in strength as needed.

Vandoren has suggestions. Probably for the experienced player, so it depends on your Clarinet chops.

As variable as reeds are, don't trust a single reed when trying out new reeds, it might be a dud.
