I thought so too. Rare is the opportunity to see two pro's, one playing a C and the other Eb sax. It is interesting on a number of levels.

Are you sure that was an Eb saxophone? It appeared to be about the same size as Weidoeft's C-Buescher . . . maybe a straight-neck Conn?

By the way, I have a C-Buescher but am amazed at the old guys' ability to make C-Mels sound so resonant and strong. I just can't come close to the real C-Mel players. Not that I can do well on the other higher saxes, but at least I can make 'em sound good. DAVE

It's not so clear to see their fingers in that video but best I can see is the one on the right has a concert pitch saxophone and the one on the left has an Eb alto saxophone.
