Staying logged in issues

I logged in and began replying to a post (noticed that" private messages " was in red?) After finishing I pressed preview and was told I needed to log in. I was able to use the back button and save my post. After logging in I was stuck on a white screen so I used my bookmark to open the forum and logged in again this time using the remember me box. "Private Messages" is back in blue
Sort of odd?

Hmm... I can't seem to repro that? Wonder if you're IP service is losing packets or something?

Or cookies. You may need to clear them all.

I just realized that I haven't been automatically subscribed to every thread that I post on. Including this one. I've been checking all my old posts to subscribe to them.
How do I make this a default ?

From the Menu bar (above) Quick links --> Edit Options and scroll down to 'Default Thread Subscription Mode'.
