Experience with all metal staples for oboe?

Just ordered one out of curiosity - anybody has any experiences with them you would like to share?

curious what you thought.....one teacher of mine likes the chudnow all-metal staples, says they make the reeds more stable. I'd say I can tell a difference, but I find them really difficult to tie on to.
