Some nasty reviews there.
Argh, that's a horror story and a half that plays into my germ a phobia. Dunno, sometimes I trade instruments with a friend, but even then I have to fight my screaming mind from scaring me. Can't...
This journey could be very interesting to our readers.
Nice. No contra's yet? Thank you for the share.
What, no video? Still, cool beans. :)
So love this, almost enough just to get a Microsoft Surface. Maybe for Christmas?
I see some mighty fine musicians playing on much worse instruments than you have. In most cases, it's not the instrument, it's the player. You can get some really fine mouthpieces for surprisingly...
This is one of the prettiest that I've seen: Allen Loomis C Melody.
Our director often brings in unique musicians playing things like a harp, an English horn, a singer, or an orator (reading as Santa Claus for example), and then of course me on bass sax on occasion....
There are sooo many great community bands in Seattle, the most famous being the Washington Wind Symphony and the Seattle Wind Symphony. One of the bands I'm in is called the Woodwind Community band....

Welcome Clare. How often does that band perform? Have you solo'd?
Such a lovely piece and as Helen said, hits some nice registers for the bari. I'm not sure I'd try to sound like a French horn. I do try on alto in the concert band I play in and as mentioned play...
Welcome Chris. Is this your first musical instrument? Regarding your questions:
1. Soreness is common in many new hobby ventures. You can get a strap for clarinets or just gut it out till you...
Hmm... my Kookaburra alto is 692xxx and Kookaburra tenor is 691xxx. Actually these are my wife's saxes.
I was looking to randomly find one worse, there are so many, and I came across this as a lovely exception:
I remember when bass clarinet stands were easily over $100 for a decent one, so I think you saved yourself a chunk of change. Hercules now offers a really nice one for around $50. Kudos to you for...
Ever consider recreating the original lever touch?
You could suss this out by looking at these two pictures. The RH thumb key would, if still there, actuate the RH pinkie C key. Follow the metal rods, and that should make sense.
