OK Carl - Will do - Thaaaaanks againDennis Brooker
I now have a very nice, in my opinion, refrubished, with new Gator case, Hite mouth piece and LUYBEN ligature Selmer Omega - Going to order some #2 reeds from Amazon and the question is should I order some "Bore Oil" or is there something as good or beeter I can buy at the grocery or hardware store? Comments and help are again appreciated - Dennis Brooker
Avoid food products in your clarinet - and avoid the pads with whatever you put in your clarinet.
A dedicated bore oil costs basically nothing when you consider how many years you will get out of a single small container.
I'd try LaVoz MS on your clarinet instead of rico orange box. Check out ebay for new unopened boxes of reeds. You might be able to do better than on amazon. And pick up a silk Hodges swab for spreading your "condensation" around in the inside of the instrument after every play session. Other brands are just as good or better, but I have had good luck with the Hodges swabs and reed cases.
