See the Eaton International for my review of the pads used in this clarinet.  Ergonomics are much better IMHO due to the larger bore and much closer toneholes. No super stretching for those with small hands.  Other than those twothings these are wonderful sounding instruments.  If you are a fan of Buffet RC Prestige then these deserve a play test against it.  Simply a wonderful tone, even scale, handles piannissimos and fortissimos with ease.  I could play this instrument all day - it could easily server as my only clarinet if I only could have one. Once again the Eaton mouthpiece is wonderfully matched to this clarinet.
