Any Info on VOX clarinet

Hello,

I have an older clarinet with VOX stamped on it, however I can not locate any information on VOX being a manufacturer of clarinets.

Any info on how I could find out more about this VOX clarinet, I would appreciate it.

It's hard to find much info on them. I have one, and it's an interesting horn. As best I've been able to learn, they were made by LeBlanc and are essentially a rebranded Vito with a factory-installed electronic pickup on the barrel. They didn't make very many of them, so you might want to hang onto it for whatever collectible value it may have.

VOX is legendary for their manufacture of world class Electric Guitar amp heads and effects pedals etc. The association with that company and your clarinet is likely due to the afore mentioned pickups.
