One of the links off the Trove website (mentioned in another post) is this periodical. The title can be translated as, "The Catalog of Patented Inventions." I can suppose that these are mainly French inventions.

I mentioned that this is a periodical. In this case, there are 70 issues: the earliest one is from 1828 and the latest is from 1864. Each issue is both searchable and downloadable. They are in French and I didn't see any pics in the issues I leafed through, but if you're looking for a French patent from the 19th century from a specific person or company, I think this will suit you nicely.
