Does anyone remember the American Single Reed Society?

Back when I was in college ('79?) the ASRS was in existence and a buddy of mine (plus 2 gals from our college) & I took the train down to Towsend St Univeristy and attended the convention.
Loads of clinics, participated in a clarinet choir, Eugene Rousseau/Phil Woods/Genussa & others gave sessions...
It was fun...

I've looked online and it doesn't seem to exist anymore....

Is there anything else like/similar going on these days?

Can only find the American Single Reed Summit on facebook and their page. But then my Internet search mojo is not as impressive as Pete's.

I Googled and checked Google Books, too, which covers magazines and other articles. Not finding it.

However, there probably is something similar that's around.
