I'm the only one that's left a comment there, so far. This is definitely the most extensively engraved Selmer I've seen.

The engraving, with the possible exception of the castle on the bell, looks very Conn-esque to me. I wonder if this horn was sent to Selmer USA to have the engraving done.

I am familiar with this horn, and yes, it has more engraving than any other early Selmer I've ever seen. I first saw it when it was owned by Frank DeFranco, a very good sax/clarinet doubler (RIP), and a cousin of Buddy DeFranco from the Miami area.

I'm famous for playing ... erm ... actually, the term "notorious" was used, but that's close enough, right?
