Free Download of Sleepy Creek Samba (6-horn chart) Recording

A free download of my Sleepy Creek Samba is available at All About Jazz. This is a demo, created by David Arivett, of my mid-size ensemble score. While it's electronic, the demo is intended to represent an ensemble using violin, woodwind quintet, and rhythm section. As with my other pieces for mid-size ensemble, the score is written for flexible instrumentation. This enables the music to be played by many combinations of instruments. As another possibility, I like this instrumentation: trumpet, soprano sax, alto sax, flugelhorn, tenor sax, and bass trombone (or tuba).

Waited five minutes for audio to load and then gave up. I have FiOS service too. Maybe I'll try later.

I've had problems with the downloads at All About Jazz with my version of Internet Explorer; whereas, with Chrome everything is fine.

Here's a link to the Sleepy Creek Samba page at my website. It has a music player, a link to the ensemble score, and a copy of the lead sheet (for small groups). If you continue to have a problem with the All About Jazz download, at least you can hear the recording and see the score on my site.
