Antique Restoration
I have read several discussions regarding Jean Cartier stencil saxophones. Does anyone have a verifiable link or reference to a source regarding the early wooden Artisté models and serial numbers? I found one in an estate sale that would look beautiful as is for wall art. It came in an alligator case with red velvet lining and is in amazing condition for its age. I’m wondering whether the early models have any value in restoring them to playing condition?

Thank you, I have the article about the F series followed by 4 digits. I have heard there is a significant difference in the early A series followed by 2-3 digits. I am looking for reference material related to the original manufacturing and where the original factory was.
