There are allegedly two main listings of Antoine Joseph Sax (i.e. the inventor of the Saxophone and others) instruments:
* http://web.archive.org/web/200408071211 ... olphe.html
* http://www.music.ed.ac.uk/euchmi/galpin/gdsl.html
There are three problems:
* The lists don't agree
* They rarely link to pictures and never link to any audio
* They miss listing the finish of the horns
So, what I'm doing is trying to reconcile these lists with the pictures of the A. Sax horns on saxpics.com and a few other places. I've got a start on it -- and I've found several additional horns not on the two lists, above.
Check it out. It's an Excel spreadsheet. If you don't have Excel, I heartily recommend getting the FREE OpenOffice.
Please note that I've only been working on that list for all of 2 hours and I plan to include all of Sax's instruments.
