My latest handmade instrument.

....an invaluable tool for the small shop, the power hacksaw cuts aluminum, brass, iron, and steel used for key parts and special tooling (mandrels, tube bending dies, work holding stuff, dent removal tools, etc.), and it allows the user to do two things at once:) This one is made from an old wood lathe (headstock and tailstock turned sideways), a C clamp (pivoting on the tailstock), a square steel guide bar welded to the C clamp, and miscellaneous scrap steel pieces. The local metal recycler has become my favorite hang-out.

Nice tool. I remember these from high school metal shop. From the title of the thread I thought we had another Jim Schmidt in our presence. :)
