Hello all,

My name is Chris. I'm 29, born and raised on Long Island, New York. I am a Hospice and ER registered nurse and fellow musician(not a professional musician by any means, just a serious player). I'm also currently enrolled part time in grad school; working towards getting a masters degree in nurse practitioner. I LOVE music, and when time allows, I play with a few local community bands and orchestras throughout the year. I joined this forum so that I could network with other musicians, post about various musical topics, and help give advice or answer any questions I can on various posts. Welcome to the WF. Since I'm a sax specialist, I'm going to ask the obvious: what kind of saxophone do you play.

Where do you play on L.I.? I'm a native of Yonkers and Queens College grad. Also did some playing with the Yonkers Concert Band members at some of those Italian feasts on L.I. in the 70s & 80s. I recall one in Copague.
