Pomarico crystal clarinet mouthpiece with possible defect or crack

Hi, first time here.
I possess a clear Pomarico Crystal clarinet mouthpiece. It plays fine, afaict.
But it looks like a bubble or crack under the surface, near tip.
I've had O'Briens with bubbles, but nothing like this before.
Advice?
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

Yes, it is cracked. Maybe I am wrong, but back in the 1970's, glass mouthpieces seemed to be more popular as my military clarinet bandmates had and used them. Fragility and special equipment to cast plus polish is perhaps why today they are not as popular?

I am reluctant to suggest any repair methodology because I have never owned a glass mouthpiece. @Helen , @Steve , anyone else have a suggestion or comment?

late to the party.
Definitely shattered in that area but still holding on.
You can't do much expect maybe superglue? I dunno ....

crystal/glass mpcs if dropped normally are then trashed as you don't want pieces of it to fall into your mouth.
