Hey folks!
I just got the revised edition of Rosemary Lang's _Beginning Studies in the Alt. Register_, and the first thing I noticed was that, in her lesson on the overtone series, she writes "Add Octave Key" under the second note of each series, and says to use the octave key for each note in the series except the fundamental (i.e. low Bb, B, and C).
Is this right? I've been at this for about 2 years without using the ocatve key! Is this why I can't get past the regular range of the horn???
Also, I've been playing C# and D as fundamentals too. Wrong?
