I got to sit in on a master class with Phil in Seattle in 2003. Such an amazing player, educator, and human being. Here's hoping they recorded this, his last session.

That being the case, he went out with a bang, and if he was having any trouble breathing it surely didnt show in the performance, which was so solid throughout that I had some trouble picking out highlights."
