SeaWind Baritone Saxophone Review

For the last few months SeaWind Saxophones has had a banner here at the WF. In December I was given the opportunity to do an extended play-test of two of their saxophones: a tenor, as well as their prototype baritone. I haven't yet written the tenor review (this will be coming in the next few weeks), but the bari review is now up on my website.

I had both horns for just over 6 weeks, as the company allowed me to use them for a rather large Saxophobia-style demonstration/performance at the Vancouver Art Gallery on Feb 6. During the show I played and had saxophones on display that ranged from 1886, to the prototype baritone.

SeaWind is considering a limited run of baritone saxophones. These would be very nice horns. Check out my review to see exactly how SeaWind saxophones are made, and what this bari looks like.

If I was in the market for a low A bari today, I would give SeaWind a serious look.
