I am in contact with the guy who sold me my instrument. He seems like a very decent guy (Ferenc Arnold). Right now he has a nice-looking Sternberg on eBay. He says that the lower octave is not as nice as on mine, but it plays high easily because it has two octave keys. Sternberg is one of the top names in tarogatok. He says it is in pretty decent condition. The reserve is $1500. In the spring he will be putting up a Hungarian no-name and a Stowasser 2-ring, in case anyone is interested. These are much better instruments than any of the Romanian horns that usually come up on eBay, and the prices are not much different.
