Stan Getz and John Coltrane

I used to work with Edgar Bateman, a great drummer who was hired by John Coltrane before he passed away. Bateman told me that Trane and Getz worked opposite each other many times in the '60s, so they probably joined forces a few times.

Interesting to hear two different highly developed styles and concepts working over the same chord changes.
