Thread awaiting approval

Hi all,

I created an account to post my first thread but I get a message saying "Awaiting approval before being displayed publicly", as well as a pop-up telling me not to post links until I've posted twice. Do posts get approved by mods after a while or do I need to do something to my profile?

Questions are always fine.

I turned on that feature because we were getting lots of spam. It just makes life a bit easier for your WWF staff :D.

We haven't seen the Pakistanis trying to sell us health supplements and construction cranes for a while. The IP blocking and spam filter must be working.
