"Vox" Beaugnier

So what do people think of Beaugnier saxes? I've got one here labeled "Vox", but it looks like a stencil. It has right side bell keys so not ancient, but in pretty rough shape. Would you let your daughter date one, or somebody who had one?

Beaugnier made a billion and a half different saxophones, most famously for Leblanc. In other words, you do have a stencil and the stencil's by Beaugnier. As far as I can tell, Beaugnier did have a couple of their on model names, but only a couple, so this Vox is a Vox. About the same as the one that was made under the Vito name, I'd assume.

You can do a Google search on "Vox Ampliphonic" and you'll get a bunch of hits. Vox is known for making a Selmer Varitone competitor called the "Octavoice." Helen's got an article on it.
