wanted: double french horn

Here's a long shot ... but the oboe went so well I might as well give it a try.

Looking for a full double french horn.
A full double - not looking for a compensating one.

I used to own a Holton Farkus lacquer H-180 (?) but preferred the 181
but at this point any low priced double would do.

a store had a bunch of FHs for sale.
I looked at the best looking one .. though probably needs some work and low balled it and they took it. I'm not sure if that is good or not. So $400 for a Holton H378, shipped.

I'll probably do some spot lacquering on the outer wrap near the bell but it looks pretty good - no crinkles in the bell like some other ones had. If any dents I'll pull out the dent tools and see what I can do.

The 378 (intermediates) are very similar to the 178s (pros) but lack fancy rotor caps, a removeable F slide, spit valve and emblems and stuff but those are supposedly the same building process and specs as the 178s
