I'm looking for a good original condition Martin Committee III around 160k-ish (flexible on that) to overhaul for a customer. The horn MUST be original finish, must be in good shape, must have all its original bits, must not have had major past damage even if it was repaired well.
Ideally, I'd like one that has most of its original pads and is sitting its a stinky original case, with most of its lacquer or plating remaining, but in need of an overhaul.
Not interested in previously submerged horns, or mismatching necks, or anything of that nature. This is going to a discriminating professional player who is going out of his way to have me select a good horn for him.
