Focused tone

    With this flute you can only play one note with a focused tone :)

    Most of my beginning flute players had that same model. :smile: By the way, how on earth did you take that photo????

    Google "focal length", aperture" and "depth of field", find the connection between them and how the first two affect the last and then it would make sense that I shot this at 85mm and f/1.8 :)

    But... who said I took this photo on earth? :)

    I love my 1.8/85. Greatest portrait lens ever.
    (Too bad the rest is still analog, but hey, can't beat these old lenses quality-wise)

    Pete, I've seen that camera before and I think it wouldn't do 90%+ of what I need so...

    Ben, mine isn't old... :) ...and how do you know it's a 85/1.8 and not a 1.4...?

    Didn't say I did. Just said I love my 1.8/85. Too bad Canon made the old FD lenses obsolete...

    Well it is a 1.8/85 :) But it's not a Canon :)

    I've been looking for a faster lens for my Nikon for the last couple months though have been busy taking pictures of things a bit further away ....

    I use almost only small "fast" lenses. I usually don't like big lenses or zooms.

    Here is another from a couple of days ago, couldn't get him to smile :)
