    Hey there y'all!
    I have this Buffet Clarinet
    It says made in France
    LP
    And numbers are 1E193
I tried to look online and found nothing.
Maybe someone who knows a little more.
I would love some info on it!
    Thanks!

I've found a Buffet clarinet serial number list which dates the serial number block E1-E999 to 1890.

There's a 1 at the start of it so it's later, else my Eb would be 20 years older, as I initially read the chart as saying.

I quoted the wrong block of numbers, but the list I have still places 1E193 as being from 1890. Can't speak for the accuracy of the list, but there it is.

the "LP" would identify it as an old clarinet as mentioned above.

I would guess 1910 too (I'm missing a few years in my chart from the link above .. from 1909 - 1912)

Is it boehm keywork or Albert keywork?
