My New Tango pieces were composed individually. However, I like how they sound in sequence.
No 1 announces "This is something different" (heavily improv-based).
No 2 goes more into a dance mode but it, too, has quirky qualities.
No 3 is downright sexy.
Finally, No 4 is the closest thing that I've written to the spirit of Piazolla.
