Anyone have experience of these devices? I've looked on their website and they appear to be tiny pieces of metal that one screws into a clarinet or other instrument and they supposedly enhance the acoustic properties of the instrument. They're very expensive and it all seems very mystical to me but a guy I know insists on their properties.

If you can string piano wire between them you could play duets with yourself. I suspect they are as effective as stones glued to a sax.

    TrueTone and Aulos303 like this.

Thats my opinion of them too. The daft thing is theyre called resonators and he has one screwed into the bell of a clarinet. The bell is its own resonator on its own!
