"RR" soprano recorder, designer or manufacturer id?

I spotted this on ebay and within about 10 seconds had purchased it. So far in my googling I have found no information about the possible designer or manufacturer, including searching the recorder maker database (http://www.recorderhomepage.net/makers.html). It is resin/plastic, however has cork in the top tenon. Also, the block appears to be removable, however I am not going to try unless necessary. The floor of the windway near the chamfer has a notch in it, leading to the the geodesic like faceted labium. Along with the split flat faced front, I can't help but hope there is a story behind this recorder and its designer. The back has "PATENT PENDING" and a small mark that may just be a sprue mark from the mold.

I only got to play it a few moments so far. It may be because of the forced right hand positioning and the very different feel of the tone holes (if it isn't clear, they are countersunk) that I may be leaking a bit, as the low D, E and F all seemed to be a bit sharp. The break to the second register E seemed to be a bit different in character, but all of that is first impressions. Anyway, on to the pics.
