Thanks for posting the link for this website. Film music is probably my favourite "genre" of music. I LOVEEEEE it. This is such a cool website. Especially since most soundtrack recordings never list the specific players ... so it's cool to see who did what and where they came from.
 
When I did a U.S. tour with Jaco Pastorius in 1982, we played Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles. Some of these guys were willing to leave the studios to do a live gig with Jaco, including Snooky Young, Chuck Findlay and Bobby Findlay on trumpet, Bill Reichenbach on bass trombone, and Gene Cipriano on tenor sax and double reeds.

The L.A. hotshots agreed on one thing - Gene Cipriano ("Cip") made more money than anyone because of his multitude of doubles. Double reed players rule!

Also, everyone was a pleasure to be with.
