    I wrote a thread regarding Chinese-made "counterfeit" horns. If you do a bit more browsing on the website, you'll see that there are a lot of descriptions in the form of, "Selmer Mark VI. Made in China!"

    I think you have the possibility of the horn being a good copy of a Buffet. I think the probability of it being a good copy is very low. Of course, the possibility and probability of the horn being made by Buffet is 0%.

    i"ve perused those websites before and you can get screaming (fake) deals on many things.
    You want the latest Selmer Paris saxophone .. they have them for 90% below wholesale, Buffet clarinets etc
    all FAKE

    If the price is too good to be true, then it probably is.
