Yanagisawa a-992 serial number

i'm planning to purchase a yanagisawa a992.
what serial number can i expect to get? [would greatly appreciate it if someone can post a range of numbers]
i calculated based on past records, and came to a figure 00305200 for 2009.

btw i reside in malaysia, and the price is significantly lower, it costs around 3120 dollars,[converted it from myr]
the online prices quote around 3900. is there a possibility of the saxophone being fake?
even the japanese prices are higher than malaysian prices, well the japanese prices are also higher than us prices...

Prices tend to vary so much that it can be hard to tell by the price alone if the instrument is fake or the seller fraudulent. I tend to deal with people I can check up on and especially those who have a vested interest in being fair and honest.

first, that serial number is definitely in the Yanagisawa format.

If you suspect the horn being "fake", don't buy from that dealer.
