Yanagisawa identify

Hi, I have a Yanagizawa with the serial number of 01078847. I can't seem to identify it, and would love to get some help from you guys. Here are some pictures. And sorry for the bad camera.

There is no exact. It's either a T6 or a T500. Those models overlapped at the time, and Yani didn't stamp the model number on the horn. That's as close as you're going to be able to get. In your listing, just say it could be either. Your pictures are terrible. But assuming all the pads are good and it's in playing condition, I'd value it around $1400, less if not playable.

I really want to know the exact model and in which price range it is. Where can I confirm that? Of course better pictures is available if needed. And thanks for all answers.
There are photos here (though most is empty) ==> http://saxpics.com/?v=gal&c=3219

I'm not a Yanagisawa person so I'd rather not try and determine which exact model it is.
Another method is to peruse eBay and figure things out, if there are enough known examples.

There is also this forum's own yanagisawa pages. @pete had put them together so he probably would know the most information.

Yup. All the stuff on my old saxpics.com website hasn't been updated in 15 years or so, after I sold it. Something like that. Don't use the serial numbers listed there. Check https://www.woodwindforum.com/forum/index.php?forums/yanagisawa.1161. Pics? Go to https://bassic-sax.info/pix/index.php?/category/28.

a) Yani serial numbers are screwy. Always. Some of their horns do have a model name stamped on them. Most of those are much newer than your horn.
b) I think it's a T500, as well. The T5, T500, and T6 look incredibly similar and all were first available around 1978.

Yah. My Yani pages on my "new" website have been offline for around a year. I haven't had the time or desire to get them back up.

I don't do price ranges anymore. Look for sold horns on ebay that look around the same condition as your horn.
