Bob ... reminds me of Lotus 1-2-3's HAL ...... not really ... but just another one of those weird products

I remember HAL, but I was already an "advanced" Lotus 1.0 user, so I skipped that one. The one I remember being excited about was Sideways, since you couldn't print in landscape mode without knowing a bunch of hexadecimal commands that were unique to each printer you used.

Wasn't HAL the computer in 2001 A Space Odyssey?

And wasn't it called HAL because if you advance each letter by one, you get....
