African Blackwood Seasoning

Hi All. I’m after some research done by The Institute of Musical Instrument Making (Zwota, Germany). I've seen it referenced on a couple of websites including Braun Flutes. The research contains information on seasoning Grenadilla (African Blackwood). The study suggest ‘optimum time’ for seasoning the timber. Some of the African Blackwood in the tests was up to 40 years old. Has anybody come across this article/paper/research before? I'm interested in how this may affect the quality of the instrument.

I tried contacting various makers including the Institute themselves but have had no luck/replies (not sure whether the language barrier is an issue – not being able to speak German).

Thanks. If anybody could help me that would be fantastic. Or perhaps I need to organise a trip to Germany?
