Buffet Crampon Clarinet Identification

Hi, this clarinet has a 4054 serial number. It has some markings which say B-of-E 1931 then underneath says No 2. Cannot find any information so any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Date of manufacture is 1929. I'd suggest the other markings are associated with whatever organization or individual that owned it in 1931.

B of E is likely referring to a (school) Board of Education. I'd worry a bit about the missing key though, I don't know if a key from a modern Buffet would fit it.
how long is it, from bell tip to mouthpiece socket?
