First, the concept of someone auctioning a Selmer Modele 26 alto for $3500 is mockable in and of itself. Then, let's look at the ad title:
In the ad's body you'll see that this "4th one ever" claim is verified by "a wide variety of [unlisted] sources." Not that it makes much difference, even if it was the fourth Modele 26 ever made. That's kinda like saying that you came in fourth in a four-person race. Or actually, you came in fourth in the qualifying trials for a four-person race.
But we're not finished mocking yet!
So, I assume that this sax sounds like a piano, then. Or, of course, I could sound like Dave Brubeck playing the sax. I dunno. Brubeck might have actually been a good sax player ....
