Magalif - Colibri

Eugene Magalif's perhaps best-known work, originally written for (traverse) flute ensemble, I believe, and then arranged variously for solo flute and piano, solo flute and orchestra, etc.

Here you'll find the world's only recording of the work as performed by large recorder ensemble. Perhaps of interest to the flute crowd, given its origins and the composer.

Best wishes

That's a very nice arrangement for a recorder band to perform, they did a superb job, thanks for sharing.

I have never seen that type of bass recorder? instrument before. The instrumentation is exclusively unique.
