Need help identifying this Buffet Clarinet

A friend of mine found out that my wife plays clarinet and gave her this Buffet. There is no serial number to be found. The Clarinet was owned by my friend's wife's father. From what she remembers it's from the 1930's. She played it through College in the late 60's.

See photos for the logo, and let me know if you need any more photos. I've been doing a ton of research and the area where the serial number should be has not been sanded or buffed down. There is a "L" at the bottom of one of the pieces though (see photos).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
