A co-worker pointed me towards a Steely Dan album available from Amazon for 99 cents. It was Aja.

Probably why they have been touring a lot in recent years.

In the'70's &'80's they were nowhere to be seen but the studio
and perhaps retrieving royalty cheques from their mailboxes.

We made excuses for them back then ,in their touring absence,
claiming that it must have been impossible to convince the stellar lineup of session men
used on their recordings to commit to touring.

Since file sharing, they seem to be playing everywhere
with a nine or ten piece outfit.

I saw them one of the first tours they did in the early 90's. It was a pretty well done show.
