That's Playing While Intoxicated: it doesn't work.

I had some Merlot for dinner, went to my practice spot but was unable to play a mediocre piece without repeats and glitches. If I had been asked if I could drive xyz home I'd have nodded and said sure no problem, but noodling my horn taught me better. (there was no one to be brought home, btw)
