They used to have a presence here in Houston...
...but it was all choir and high school band material plus some decent studies books - nothing else. I tried to order through them a couple of times, but the process was so cumbersome, slow and involved ("Pay in advance, then we'll see if we can get it for you, and (if not) good luck at getting your money back") that I finally just gave up and used the Internets.
A venerable company, but one with a very dated business model.

I'm sorry to see them go. It is nice to finally put a "face" with the name that I have seen for years at the bottom of some of the finest solo and band literature that I have used in my teaching career. Too bad that this is the way to find out more about the company.
