If you want some uniquely tingling playing sensation, dip a regular reed in Tabasco, Japanese peppermint oil, Texas Pete, Aguardente, ...

I managed a retail band department that had these in stock when I took over. They were the first things banished from the showroom floor. I think they eventually blew them out on ebay.

yea after reading the faq it says it has a small amount of sugar which I believe is bad.

I personally would only use mint to keep it fresh! especially during cleaning.

I don't really clean my reeds... don't know anyone that does... just soak in water and go
